Plant Medicine Allies Retreat

October 9th - 11th, 2020  -  The Lodge at Black Rapids

This weekend is about diving deep, doing the work, and bringing in the joy.

This weekend is about diving deep and doing “the work”. The healing properties of the sacred, ancient and indigenous plant medicine of the Amazon (Ayahuasca) is not yet supported in many countries. Yet to those who have experienced Her wisdom, it has brought healing to many with addictions, physical illness and emotional trauma. DMT (dimethyltryptamine) is the naturally occurring chemical substance that evokes the “visions” that are seen and experienced on hallucinogenic plant medicines such as Ayahuasca. It is present in the blood in elevated quantities at the moment of birth and at the moment of death in a human life. Sacred breath work, when done in a guided manner, can also increase the levels of DMT.

During this weekend, we will be experiencing breath work in a sacred ceremony and will prepare our bodies, minds and spirits in ritual akin to Ayahuasca ceremony in order to release what needs to go and receive the incoming wisdom and messages. These small yet significant rituals taught to you can become part of your daily life and will support you in your journey forward.

I am honored and humbled to have my teacher Taita Juanito, the head healer and founder of Finca Ambiwasi, speak with us (via Zoom) about healing at this time and the role of the medicine (Yagé). He will bless us, our weekend together and the plant allies that serve us during this time answering questions with the group.

Leading the breath work ceremony with Icaros (sacred medicine songs) are my teachers and sacred medicine healers, Cosetta Romani and Ivo Grossi (of Pura Vita Shamanic Work). I have personally experienced the power and authenticity of their work. Get ready to experience yourself in a whole new way.
